NTFB-volunteers-April-2014
With gratitude for the services the North Texas Food Bank provides for so many local families, eleven WOVI Addison volunteers spent a Saturday afternoon in April helping sort through large boxes of donated goods – goods including mostly food that will mean the difference between being hungry and having a meal for thousands of children and families struggling with hunger. With a definite tug in our hearts at the stories we heard, our WOVI sisters served along with other volunteers to share our time and labor. The NTFB operations site is truly incredible, but it cannot function without volunteers to do the work. Call the NTFB to set a date and time to go with your chapter, your friends or families to make a positive difference.
