Recent Actions of WOVI Inc.'s Executive Board
The members of the WOVI Executive board are hard at work planning for the future of WOVI. Well over 200 "Wo-man" hours have been given by this dedicated team of women since the first of January. In additon to regular board meetings and conference calls, full day workshops were held January 17, 2009 and February 7, 2009. Projects and topics included strategic planning for the growth of WOVI, the business of WOVI (budgets, policies, communications and reporting), and event planning.
In addition, a series of surveys have been developed and will be conducted over the coming months. These surveys cover various aspects of WOVI and your participation is encouraged and appreciated. The first regarding WOVI membership has just been completed and the results are being complied. Results will be included in the next issue of The Vision. Thank you to all who participated in the membership survey.
