Starting a Chapter

Mission

WOVI, Incorporated develops programs and activities designed to lead, educate and mentor women. Through our membership, charitable contributions and corporate benefactors, we provide mentoring and leadership to members and to women in the community.

Creating a WOVI Chapter for Your Circle of Influence

What You Have and Need:

1. A strong desire to empower women
2. Ten or more women to be a part of the initiative
3. Five to eleven women interested in leading the Chapter
4. Meeting location, date and time for Chapter Launch and future meetings
5. Communication with WOVI, Inc. Leaders
6. Desire to learn about WOVI, mentoring and leadership
7. Commitment to empower women and to build, grow and sustain a WOVI Chapter

1. WOVI provides you with detailed “Chapter Start Up Packet"
2. WOVI supplies WOVI Leadership Resource Book(s)
3. WOVI furnishes New Member Handbooks and WOVI Membership Pins for each new member
4. WOVI Leaders Participate in “Introductory Meeting” (Meeting not required)
5. WOVI Leaders take part in your new Chapter Launch
6. WOVI promotes your efforts on WOVI.com and throughout WOVI’s community of Chapters
7. WOVI mentors and trains Chapter leaders
