Dear Pauline,
WOVI, Inc. proudly announces the highly anticipated second session of the Mentor Certification Program.
Mentoring is one of the keystones of the WOVI, Inc. organization. We feel so strongly about the benefits of mentoring (and mentoring done well) that we are sponsoring the first-of-its-kind Mentor Certification program.
It's common for people to mentor without knowing the skill and art of mentoring. This program provides you with knowledge and skills that you will use in a broad range of situations and settings.
Why should you become a Certified Mentor?
In the corporate world, mentoring and mentoring programs are increasing exponentially. Trained mentors ensure appropriate knowledge transfer and provide critical support to companies and to their employees.
Increased knowledge and expertise, and an additional credential for coaches and therapists are the things that set you apart from your colleagues. Coaching is a billion dollar industry and practitioners are looking for additional programs and education that help them stand out among the competition. Coaches who also mentor will be in great demand.
The Mentor Certification program provides you with a unique credential. Participation in this program and earning the Certified Mentor designation puts you on the cutting edge.
It's more than the certification, it's the knowledge of mentoring and skill sets you will acquire. It's also the opportunity to practice these new skills in an encouraging environment.
How is the program structured?
The Mentor Certification program runs for six months and is taught through a blend of classroom instruction, assessments, case studies, practical experience, self-paced study, and webinars. Completion of the program and a passing score on the comprehensive final exam will earn you the exclusive Certified Mentor designation.
Who should participate in the program?
The Mentor Certification program is open to everyone. Although WOVI is an organization for women only, we realize that everyone benefits from mentoring and being a mentor.
