What if a member of your family was in a car accident, they may ask you to take care of a few household items while they are in the hospital, such as feed their pet, take their children or parents to the doctor, or login to bank account to pay the electric bill? Where would you find the information and phone numbers needed to help?
What if a loved one suddenly passes away, where is the financial and burial information? This can become a huge burden on the family and friends if they have to search for vital information in times of need and grief.
Holli Terry from RBC Wealth Management will be presenting strategies to prepare for the unexpected by organizing all important information and documents to ease the burden for yourself and your family.
Holli Terry is a mother of two active boys and a financial consultant with RBC Wealth Management in Plano. She did not start out dreaming to be an advisor. As a former Kilgore College Rangerette, Holli wanted to be a dance team director and high school teacher and was very successful at both. A few weeks after her first son was born, a routine trip to the grocery store changed her life. An encounter with an elderly woman reminded Holli that she had to not only take care of her family, but herself as well. This included financial well-being for her golden years. She could not read enough material on saving, investing, and retirement. Her school noticed her interest in monetary issues and allowed her to begin teaching Economics. This became her passion. |
