Living better because we live longer:
How can women help secure their financial futures?"
Unlock Your Potential and Achieve Greatness in Yourself and Others

Holli Terry
Financial Consultant
RBC Wealth ManagementPlano, Texas

Holli Terry is a mother of two active boys and a financial consultant with RBC Wealth Management in Plano.  She did not start out dreaming to be an advisor.  As a former Kilgore College Rangerette, Holli wanted to be a dance team director and high school teacher and was very successful at both.  A few weeks after her first son was born, a routine trip to the grocery store changed her life.  An encounter with an elderly woman reminded Holli that she had to not only take care of her family, but herself as well.  This included financial well-being for her golden years.  She could not read enough material on saving, investing, and retirement.  Her school noticed her interest in monetary issues and allowed her to begin teaching Economics.  This became her passion.

After the death of her mother, Holli decided that life is too short to be satisfied with her current teaching career.  With the desire to improve, she decided to pursue her Masters in Education in order to move up the public school ladder.  Holli decided that half-way through her studies that this was not the route she needed to be taking.  This mother of two continued to teach her Economics classes on the importance of saving and investing, and starting the process while you are young.  Many times Holli’s students encouraged her to advise people outside of the classroom.  So, after she completed her studies, Holli took a leap of faith and left her secure job in education for a more volatile career in financial planning.  She has never looked back.  Currently, Holli is not only advising clients on their financial investments, but she also educates and motivates them along the way.  She truly has the heart of a teacher in the business of investments.
