News from the President's Desk

The WOVI North Dallas Board of Directors voted to approve a new meeting registration policy to prevent loss from no show registrations.  When members or guests register for a WOVI monthly meeting and fail to show up, WOVI's treasury looses money by paying for meals that weren't paid for my members and guests. 

To prevent losses from occurring, the new Paypal registration feature has been added to the the meeting announcement.  Now everyone can pay in advance or pay an additional $5.00 at the door for late registration.  

The Board has also been very busy locating interesting program speakers for the coming year.  Your feedback in the Member Satisfaction Survey was extremely valuable in helping us focus on your needs to deliver value.

We still need to expand our membership.  Please bring your friends and associates.  Don't forget to pick up your share of WOVI business cards that have our meeting information for you to pass along to your invitees.

There are several positions open on our Board: VP of Finance, Membership Services Director and Membership Director.  Won't you please consider volunteering a small amount of your time and get involved with our Board.  We are a fun group.
