At WOVI North Dallas' next meeting on Thursday evening, April 15th, Darlene Ellison, Award-winning author and motivational speaker, will deliver a dynamic presentation about how to "Create Your Own Current...and Ride YOUR Wave to Success!" The meeting will be held at the Crowne Plaza Suites, Dallas-Park Central. Registration begins at 5:45 pm, Relationship Building starts at 6:00 and Dinner will be served at 6:30 pm. Who is the "real you" and how does "she" influence your actions and performance? This presentation will give you a "beach bag full of tricks" to be successful as a woman in business!
Darlene Ellison has over 20 years of experience in the combined fields of child psychology and business. Darlene brings a unique "twist" to her motivational message to business women across the country as a result of her own experiences as the ex-wife of a child predator, arrested in 2005 in a very public unfolding of an undercover FBI operation. Darlene has been featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show, 20/20 and Dateline NBC, as well as in Dallas' D Magazine. Years as a Development Consultant, as well as her more recent professional role as the Vice President of Business Development for Professional Bank, N.A., have allowed her to create a unique business development strategic plan that focuses on niche positioning and High Touch customer service. She is also the founder and coordinator of two award-winning community Women In Business organizations that help women business owners and executives gain personal and professional growth. Darlene is the author of the award-winning book, "The Predator Next Door...Detect, Protect and Recover from Betrayal" and is a nationally sought-out speaker. She was recently honored as the 2009 Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce's Entrepreneur of the Year. Her new book, "Create Your Own Current" is scheduled for release in February 2011.

Well, April is the last month for this Membership Drive and to celebrate, guests of members will be able to attend at Member Price of $25 for the April meeting ONLY! That is a savings of $13! Just be sure to have your guests RSVP with YOUR name as the Member who invited her and she will be eligible for the special Member Pricing. And your name will still be entered into the drawing for another chance for the Free Meeting. Drawing will be held at the conclusion of the April meeting and the winner will be announced.
